Pattabhi Jois a few decades ago. Ashtanga yoga incorporates breath and movement. This style of yoga is becoming increasingly popular and is known for its active flow. The practice offers a comprehensive workout as well as meditative cardiovascular and relaxation benefits.

Pamela Hall, certified Yoga and Meditation teacher; Stress Management Specialist
Pamela has taught yoga and meditation for over 25 years. She has studied and conducted classes and workshops in the U.K., Europe, Africa, India, and the U.S. She taught and lectured at The Golden Door Spa for 10 years. Pamela assisted with Scripps and UCSD Medical School's "Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction" courses. She has 25 years of working with private clients with a variety of needs, including improved flexibility and circulation, stress release, meditation techniques, injuries, dealing with grief, opening to the heart. Pamela currently teaches classes for employees at UCSD Medical, Hillcrest and Thornton Hospitals and at Beauty Kliniek Day Spa & Wellness Center in San Diego.
