Marriage and Family Therapists are psychotherapists
and healing arts practitioners licensed by the State of
California. Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) are core
mental health practitioners and relationship specialists.
Our therapist is trained to assess, diagnose and treat individuals,
couples, families and groups to achieve more fulfilling
and productive personal, marital, familial, and social relationships.
Psychotherapy does not offer solutions or take sides. Instead,
our therapist will assist you in working out solutions according
to your own personal values and lifestyle. Seeking professional
support is a sign of courage and a willingness to deal with
life's many changes.

Nicole
Kahn is a California state licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist with several years of experience treating children,

in her therapy practice maintaining a person-focused, rather
than symptom-focused approach; she treats individual's mental
or emotional problems within the context of his or her current

therapy, gestalt practices, the expressive arts, guided
imagery, and solution-focused techniques to provide individualized,
comprehensive treatment for her clients.
Nicole
received a Bachelor of Social Work from New York University
and then went on to complete a Master of Education and a
Master of Arts in Psychological Counseling from Columbia
University. Nicole has completed coursework in the PhD Expressive
Arts Therapy program from San Diego University of Integrative
Studies and is currently an active member of the California
Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Simultaneous
to serving the clients of Beauty Kliniek, Nicole provides
counseling and psychoeducation to adolescents within a local
San Diego school.
Nicole
believes that achieving balance, emotionally, spiritually
and physically, is the key to a successful and fulfilled
life. Nicole incorporates her knowledge of psychology, yoga,
dance, meditation, creative arts, Eastern philosophies and
alternative treatment practices to aid each client in actualizing
their most vibrant self. For Nicole, wellness is about integrating
all parts of self and thus connecting to the world around
us.
